India's Covid Situation Tragic, Have Committed Support To Them: Kamala Harris
Washington: US Vice President Kamala Harris portray the Covid circumstance in India as "appalling" and said they have made a guarantee to help the nation in doing combating the test.
"There is no doubt that it is an extraordinary misfortune, as far as the death toll, and as I have said previously, and I will say once more, we as a nation have made a pledge to individuals of India to help them," Harris told correspondents on Friday in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Harris said she hasn't addressed her family in India since the information on the boycott was disclosed.
On the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Administration will limit travel from India beginning May 4, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki had said.
"The approach will be carried out considering exceptionally high COVID-19 caseloads and various variations circling in India," Psaki said in an articulation.
